Thomas
Swan Sign Co., Inc. is built on a long-standing dedication
to high standards of manufacture and service for its clients.
In
1877 Thomas-Swan originated as"Swan the Painter" in San
Francisco. Mr. Swan began by painting private homes and
commercial buildings, growing to a complete signmaking operation
as the demand for custom signage increased.
Carroll
E. Thomas purchased the business in 1951 and incorporated
his name into the company's. Over the next twenty years,
Thomas-Swan Sign Co, evolved into a noted commercial sign
manufacturing firm with work ranging from wall-lettering,
gold leafing, and vehicle and window lettering to the fabrication
and installation of raised letters and custom signs.

In
1960, Carroll Thomas's son, Allen, joined the company. After
ten years of invaluable hands-on experience, he purchased
Thomas-Swan. Under the guidance and direction of Allen Thomas,
Thomas-Swan manufactures and installs some of the most prominent
signage across the nation and throughout the world.
With
three generations of family leadership now established,
our attention to service, planning and innovation continues.
